Purchasing Desktop Software

Pima has licensing agreements for a list of software products for use in the office, including MS Office Suite, which is provided automatically to all computer desktops in the College. Other products are available for purchase by individual departments at a discounted price.

Purchasing College-Wide Software and Systems

Please contact IT Purchasing when you are considering a purchase of software that will be used broadly across the College. We can offer some assistance with your purchase and can work with the vendor to possibly obtain a discount. Also, IT needs to review the software for potential security issues and Access and Disability Resources (ADR) support that may be necessary. An early review of software specifications will ensure that the hardware, software, and network infrastructure will be in place to support the software you are considering purchasing.
