How do I add a Printer on a Windows Computer

I'm missing the PrinterLogic Extension.

  • Open Google Chrome and type chrome://extensions/ in the address bar.
    • If the extension is listed, check if it's disabled.
    • If the extension is missing, submit a Printer Support ticket.

The printer I want to add isn't listed in PrinterLogic.

  • Verify that you are connected to the correct network.
  • Ensure the printer is powered on and connected to the network.
  • Submit a Printer Support ticket if the printer is not listed.

I am receiving error messages when trying to print.

  • Note the exact error message for reference.
  • Refresh Configuration
    • Right-click on the printer icon on the taskbar (Windows) or the menu bar (MacOS)   Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
    • In the pop-up menu, select Refresh Configuration​​​​​.
    • Once refreshed, try printing once more.
  • Ensure the printer is powered on and connected to the network.
  • Submit a Printer Support ticket if the printer is not listed.
  • If the error persists, submit a Printer Support ticket with details of the error message.

What should I do if a printer's name does not match its location?

  • Submit a Printer Support Ticket.
    • Include the printer's name, its correct location, and a description of the issue.

Installation

  • PrinterLogic is deployed and automatically installed through the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub. If the application does not automatically install, follow the steps below:
    1. Open the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub on the device.
    2. Click your name in the bottom left of the app, then click Sync Device to update the app catalog.
    3. Click on the Apps tab, select All Apps, and check if PrinterLogic is listed.
      • Install both the Printer Installer Client and PrinterLogic Printer Installer Client.
    4. If the app still does not appear, submit a Report a Software Problem ticket.
