Introduction

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to connect to the GlobalProtect VPN. VPN access is essential for secure remote connections to institutional resources.

Requirements

  • VPN Access Request: A VPN Access Request must be submitted before logging into the VPN.
  • GlobalProtect App: Ensure the GlobalProtect application is installed on your device.
    • If you cannot locate or install the app, contact IT at 520-206-4900.
  • DUO Mobile App: Ensure that you have activated DUO Mobile and can receive DUO codes.

Instructions

  1. Open the GlobalProtect Software
    • Search for GlobalProtect in the Windows or Mac search bar.
      or
    • Search for the GlobalProtect icon in the taskbar on Windows or Mac.

    • If the app is not available, contact IT at 520-206-4900 for assistance.
  2. Enter the Portal Address
    • When the Welcome screen appears, select "Get Started."

    • On the next page, enter the following address: pcc-vpn.pima.edu

    • Click Connect.
  3. Sign In with Your Pima Credentials
    • Enter your Pima username and password.

    • Click Sign In.
  4. Authenticate with DUO
    • Enter your six-digit DUO code from one of the following methods and click Sign In:
      1. Duo Push: Type 1 to receive a push notification.
      2. Phone Call: Type 2 to get a phone call with your DUO code.
      3. SMS Passcode: Type 3 to get a text message with your DUO code.
