When attempting to log in to D2L, you may receive the following error message: 

  • "There was a problem processing your authentication. Your username/password was invalid, or your particular user does not exist on our system. If you have any questions, please see your system administrator."

Solution

  1. Follow the steps in the Clearing Browser Cache and Cookies Article.
  2. If this does not resolve the issue, submit a request for D2L/Brightspace Support.
