Check Account Status
To determine if your account is active and ready to use, follow these steps:
- Verify if the account is inactive due to time away from the college.
- If you have not taken classes in more than 3 years, the account will be marked as inactive.
- If you applied to take non-credit courses (classes for personal or job skills that do not count toward a degree, such as GED, Adult Ed, or certificates), the account will be marked as inactive 90 days after the last class ends.
- Reapply to Pima to regain access if the account is currently inactive.
Check Your Username and Password
To make sure you are entering your login information correctly, follow these steps:
- Confirm your username is correct.
- The username is the first part of your email (example: jsmith5) and can be found in your acceptance email.
- Type your password carefully.
- Check that the "Caps Lock" is off on your keyboard.
- Passwords are case-sensitive and must be typed exactly as they were created.
- Use the right format for the page you are using:
- On the MyPima SSO page, use only your username.
- For Google, Microsoft Office, or other Pima applications, you may need to enter your full email address (example: jsmith5@pima.edu).
Fix Web Browser Problems
Sometimes, your web browser (such as Chrome or Safari) saves outdated information that can cause errors. To fix browser issues, follow these steps:
- Try to sign in using a "Private" or "Incognito" window to see if the error goes away.
