Password Requirements
To successfully reset your password, ensure it meets the following criteria:
- Password must be between 15 and 127 characters long.
- Password must include at least one letter.
- Password can include special characters, except:
- ":" or any non-English characters (e.g., accented letters or non-Latin scripts).
Avoid using common words or personal information to make your password more secure.
Student-Specific Solutions
Red Text Appears Under the Password Box
This means your password doesn’t meet the requirements listed above.
Invalid Entry for the "Username" Field
An invalid character has been entered; usernames must not contain capitalized letters or special characters.
Error: "The server did not find a current representation for the target resource."
If you receive this error message, please Request Account Support for further assistance.
Error: Account Not Found
Your account has not been found in our system. Verify that you are entering the correct username.
- If you are unsure of your username, you can find it using your A# in the Forgot Username tool.
Error: Access Denied
A permissions issue is preventing the password reset process from completing. Please Request Account Support for further assistance.
Error: Page Not Found
- If you are attempting to reset your password using the Chrome browser on iOS, you will receive this error, as Chrome on iOS is not supported. Please use Safari on iOS.
- Alternatively, this error can occur if you select the "Set your password" link more than once, as this is a one-time-use link. Please reset your password to access your account.
I am not receiving the recovery email
Check your Spam folder in your email. If the email is still missing, please Request Account Support for further assistance.
I don't know my A Number
If you are unsure of your A number, check your personal email for your acceptance email, which will include your A number.
Error: The request was syntactically correct but its content is semantically invalid.

Staff-Specific Solutions
Error: "SailPoint is configured to require security questions..."
You have not set up your security questions.
- You may also see this error if there is a problem with Duo authentication.
- If you forgot your password and see this error, contact the IT Service Desk for assistance.
Security question answers must be at least 4 characters long.
I've Forgotten Both My Password and Security Questions
