This article provides a list of common issues and errors you may encounter when resetting your MyPima password and ways to fix them.

Password Requirements
- To successfully reset your password, ensure it meets the following criteria:
- Password must be between 15 and 127 characters long.
- Password must include at least one letter.
- Password can include special characters, except:
- ":" or any non-English characters (e.g., accented letters or non-Latin scripts).
Invalid entry for the "Username" field:
- This error means that an invalid character has been entered, usernames must not contain capitalized letters or special characters.
Error: Account not found:
- This error means that your account has not been found in our system, verify that you are entering the correct username.
- If you are unsure of your username you can find it using your A# in the Forgot Username tool.
Error: Access Denied:
- This error indicates a permissions issue preventing the password reset process. Please contact the IT Service Desk at 520-206-4900 for further assistance.
I don't know recovery questions:
- Please reach out to the IT Service Desk at 520-206-4900.
I am not receiving the recovery email:
- Check your Spam folder in your email, if the email is still missing, please reach out to the IT Service Desk at 520-206-4900.
I don't know my A Number:
- If you are unsure of your A number, check your personal email for your acceptance email, this will include your A number.
- If you still cannot locate your A number, please reach out to the Pima Outreach Team and request your A number at 520-206-4545
