VMWare Horizons is managed by the CIS department,
NOT
by IT. If you are unable to access VMWare after following these steps, contact
it-coe-datacenter@pima.edu
Clear Cache and Cookies
This can be done by following the steps outlined in our knowledge base article
Clearing Cache and Cookies
.
Restart your computer
If clearing your cache and cookies doesn't work, try restarting your computer.
Try another browser or device
If you're still unable to connect, try using another browser or device if possible.
Install the desktop client
If you're using a non-Pima device, try installing the desktop client instead of using the web client.
VMware Desktop Client Download
Restart or reset the VM
If you're able to sign in and connect to a VM but the screen is black or frozen, you can restart the machine from the three-dot dropdown menu next to the machine name in the sidebar, or reset it if the restart fails. Alternatively, you can try disconnecting from the machine, signing out, clearing the cache and cookies, and signing back in again. It may take a while for the machine to start back up and be available if it was reset.
Contact your instructor
If you're still unable to connect, you should contact your instructor for assistance. If your instructor is unable to help, you should reach out to
it-coe-datacenter@pima.edu
for further assistance.
