Enrolling the Duo Mobile App Using Another Device (Phone/Tablet + Computer)

Follow these steps to enroll in the Duo Mobile App using your smartphone and another device, like a laptop or desktop computer.

  1. Access the Portal: In a new tab or window, open the Duo Self-Enrollment Portal.

  2. On the "Select an option" page of the self-enrollment portal, select Duo Mobile.

  1. Enter Device Details:
    • For Smartphones: Verify the country code, enter your 10-digit phone number, and select Add phone number.
    • For Tablets: Select I have a tablet at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Confirm your number by selecting 'Yes, it’s correct'.

  1. Install the App: On your phone or tablet, search for "Duo Mobile" in your device's app store. Download and open the app.

  1. In the Duo Mobile app, tap Continue and then tap Use a QR code. Allow the app access to your camera if prompted.

  1. Scan QR Code: On your computer screen, select Next to reveal the QR code. Point your device camera at the computer screen to scan it.

  1. Finalize Enrollment: Once a green checkmark appears on your computer, select Log in with Duo.
  2. On your mobile device, name your account (e.g., "Pima Community College") and tap Save.
  3. Preferences: Tap Skip on the practice screen. On the "Improving your experience" screen, IT Security recommends you tap Turn off.
