How do I report suspicious phone calls on my Webex or Cisco Phone?

  1. Note Important Details
    • Before reporting, document the following information about the call:
      • Time and date of the call.
      • Phone number or caller ID displayed.
      • Nature of the call, including any suspicious content or behavior.
  2. Report the Call
    • Submit a Report a Telephone Problem ticket including all details gathered, these requests will be forwarded to our IT Security team for review.

How do I report suspicious phone calls on my personal device?

  1. Report scams and fraud to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) - you do not need to contact the IT Help Desk
  2. Add your number to the FTC's Do Not Call Registry
  3. Block the caller using your phone's settings
    • iPhone/iPads - Avoid unwanted calls
    • Androids - Avoid unwanted calls
