Setting Up a Custom Voicemail Greeting on the Self-Service Portal

Introduction

This article provides the process for setting up custom voice messages in WebEx. Your voicemail greeting is the message that your callers hear when they reach your voicemail. There are two types of voicemail greetings - Busy and No Answer. The Busy greeting is played when you’re on another call and don’t have a call waiting, and the No Answer greeting is played when you don’t answer the call.

Instructions

  1. Open a web browser and navigate to https://user.webex.com.

    • Log in with your MyPima credentials.

  2. In the Top Left corner, click “Settings.”

  3. Select Voicemail and locate Send calls to voicemail.

  1. Under “Send calls to voicemail” you can set custom messages for “Send calls to voicemail when line is busy” and “Send calls to voicemail when no one answers.” 

  1. Select “Custom message

  2. You can either select “Upload file” if you have an audio file or “Record message” if you do not. 

  1. Selecting “Upload file” lets you upload a .WAV file with your voicemail message.
  2. By selecting “Record message” you can record a voicemail response with an available microphone. 

8. If you are recording a message, start recording by clicking the red record button

 

                     a. The website will request to use your microphone, click allow.

  1. Once you are done recording, select the button again to stop recording.

  2. Review your message by clicking the play button. 

  3. If the message recorded is acceptable, click save. Otherwise, you can rerecord your message by clicking the red record button again. 

  4. Once finished, click save at the bottom of the “Send calls to voicemail” section.   

 

   13. You should now see a .WAV audio file under the custom message field.
