Overview
Pima Community College provides site licensing for Adobe products to support learning, administrative workflows, and digital creation.
While students receive access through the bundle known as Acrobat Studio, please note that within student Adobe accounts, applications will appear listed individually as Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe Express, not as Acrobat Studio.
You don’t have to download and install Adobe Express on your desktop, laptop, or Chromebook; the application runs entirely inside a web browser on those devices. You can, however, install the Adobe Express app on your Apple or Android phone or tablet. Either way, because it uses the Adobe cloud, you can create and access your projects from any device with an internet connection.
App Description
Purpose: An all-in-one, browser-based visual design and content creation tool designed to quickly create graphics, flyers, posters, presentations, and short videos without needing advanced graphic design experience.
Key Capabilities:
- Access thousands of pre-designed templates for flyers, social media posts, resumes, and presentation slides.
- Access royalty-free stock photos, icons, and fonts via Adobe Stock integration.
- Perform quick single-click edits, such as changing image backgrounds or resizing designs for different platforms.
- Photoshop integration: Embedded, simplified core Adobe Photoshop capabilities to:
- Retouch, enhance, and apply filters or color adjustments to photos.
- Combine and layer images with text, shapes, and graphic elements.
- Remove or replace image backgrounds with one click using AI.
- Generative Fill: Insert, remove, or replace elements in images using simple text prompts powered by Adobe Firefly AI.
- Firefly AI Integration: Leverage generative AI text-to-image capabilities.
Logging In to Adobe Express
- In your preferred browser, navigate to express.adobe.com [External Link] and then click Sign In at the upper-right corner of the page.
- Enter your full PCC email address: username@mail.pima.edu, and then select Continue.
- When prompted to select an account type, select Company or School Account.
- Complete the login process via the Pima Single Sign-on page using your username and password as usual.
- On the Adobe Express dashboard, verify that your profile shows access to Adobe Express Premium features (unlocked templates, royalty-free stock assets, and AI tools powered by Adobe Firefly).
Quick Troubleshooting Tips
- Personal Profile vs. Pima Profile Prompt: If prompted to select between a Personal Profile and a Pima Community College profile during login, always choose Pima Community College to access Premium enterprise features.
- Mobile App Access: As stated above, Adobe Express is available as a mobile app for phone or tablet, whether it is an Apple or Android device. Visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to install. And when signing in to the mobile app, select the Company or School Account, as in the steps outlined above.
