Details
When attempting to access a website, you may receive any of the following error messages:
- "404 Not Found"
- "Error 404"
- "HTTP 404 Not Found"
- "The requested URL was not found on this server."
A 404 error occurs when the server cannot find the requested website page, often due to a broken link, a misspelled URL, or a page that has been moved or deleted.

Solution
To resolve a 404 webpage error, follow these steps:
- Verify the Website URL: Check the address bar to ensure the website URL is spelled correctly and does not contain typos.
- Perform Basic Browser Troubleshooting: Clear your browser cache and cookies, or try opening the webpage in an incognito window.
- Check for Outages: Visit status.pima.edu to see if there are any outages or service disruptions.
- Report the Issue: If the previous steps do not resolve it, submit a Report a Software Problem ticket and include the website URL.
- If the website is managed by an external organization rather than Pima Community College, the IT department will direct you to the external support team for further assistance.
