  • "404 Not Found"
  • "Error 404"
  • "HTTP 404 Not Found"

A 404 error occurs when the server cannot find the requested website page, often due to a broken link, a misspelled URL, or a page that has been moved or deleted.

Solution

To resolve a 404 webpage error, follow these steps:

  1. Verify the Website URL: Check the address bar to ensure the website URL is spelled correctly and does not contain typos.
  2. Perform Basic Browser Troubleshooting: Clear your browser cache and cookies, or try opening the webpage in an incognito window.
  3. Check for Outages: Visit status.pima.edu to see if there are any outages or service disruptions.
  4. Report the Issue: If the previous steps do not resolve it, submit a Report a Software Problem ticket and include the website URL.
    • If the website is managed by an external organization rather than Pima Community College, the IT department will direct you to the external support team for further assistance.
