Cellular Device Request

Overview

Use this service to request a new college issued cell phone or WiFi device, or to request a change to an existing college plan cellular device or plan. Requests for new devices are restricted to college staff only. Faculty and adjunct faculty, please make your request to your dean. WiFi hotspots are available for students to check out through the PCC Library's Technology Lending Program

Details

Requests for new devices are restricted to staff, administrators, and temporary employees designated as staff. If you are a full-time or adjunct faculty member requesting a cell phone, please contact your Dean for more information. 

If you are requesting a new cellular device, you will need your supervisor and the fund director's approval. If you will be using grant funds, the grant administrator must also approve your request. Email approvals are acceptable. 

This service can also be used to request changes to existing devices/plans, including the following:

  • Transferring service to another user or changing the FOAP
  • Cancelling cellular service
  • Reporting an issue or trouble with a college provided cellular device
  • Suspending or activating service
  • Adding a hot spot or text package to an existing device

Estimated Device Cost: $0.00 - $99.00.

Standard monthly rate: $38.00. Includes 100 SMS/MMS messages. 

Add on text packages: $12 Unlimited per month.

Estimated Device Cost: $0.00 - $99.00.

Screen protectors and cases are required ~ Approximate cost $25.00. 

The standard monthly rate is $70.00. Includes unlimited data, text, and talk.

Estimated Device Cost: $30.00 - $99.99 Depending on availability

Standard Monthly Rate: $40.00

NOTE: Models outside of the college's special pricing plan require the approval of the department administrator.
