By requesting this service I certify I am an affiliate of Pima Community College (PCC). I own a personal computer and would like to utilize support services of employees of PCC for my personal computer. Support services which are available to me include:
- Operating system security patches and configurations
- Installation and upgrade of anti-virus and spyware-scanning software
- Installation and configuration of validly licensed software
- Network configuration
- Direction and assistance of installation of student-supplied hardware/peripherals
- General computing advice, assistance, and recommendations
I acknowledge that support services provided by PCC personnel may result in malfunction of certain programs, data loss, or functions of my personal computer and acknowledge that this result may occur through no fault of the PCC personnel. Knowing and understanding the risk of accepting the support services of PCC personnel, I assume all responsibility and risk for any damage to my personal computer that may result from those services. Furthermore, I agree in advance to release, waive, forever discharge, and covenant not to sue PCC, any of its employees, officers, or agents from and against any and all liability for any harm, injury, damage, claims, demands, actions, causes of action, costs, and expenses of any nature that may result from support services I accept for my personal computer.
In signing this Release, I acknowledge and represent that I have read and understood the content of this agreement and I understand that I sign this document as my own free act and deed; my decision to sign this agreement is based only on its written terms and not based any oral representations, statements, or other inducements. I further state that I am at least eighteen (18) years of age and fully competent to sign this Agreement.
