Introduction
When initially setting up your MyPima account, or when requesting a password reset by email, you may receive an error stating:
- "An error occurred. If you are unable to continue your work, please contact SailPoint support. The link provided is not valid. Please check your invitation email or contact your administrator."
This error typically occurs if too much time has passed since the email was sent and the link has expired.
Solution
Request a New Password Reset Link
If your initial account setup or reset password link has expired, you can request a new password reset email to gain access to your account:
- Navigate to the account recovery page at account.pima.edu/forgotpassword
- Enter your username in the provided field.
- Submit the request to receive a new password reset link via email.
Password reset emails are unavailable for staff. Staff members must use security questions to recover their accounts or reset passwords. For assistance, please submit a Help with MyPima Account request.
