- When prompted for a password or security key, enter the WiFi password number displayed on the hotspot device (example circled in red on the illustration shown here).
You have now signed on to the WiFi network.
Troubleshooting
- If it seems as if the WiFi network is not present, make sure you have powered on the device, so that it can generate and transmit the WiFi signal.
- If the device does not turn on, plug in the supplied charging cable, wait a few minutes, and then try again.
- If the WiFi network is available but your computer or tablet cannot sign on to it, make sure you have correctly entered the WiFi password number displayed on your hotspot device (example circled in red on the illustration shown here).
- If you can sign on to the WiFi network, but webpages or other web services (like email) do not respond, make sure both checkboxes in Device Setting are checked.
- Attempt a Hard Reset
- Locate the reset button, which is typically a small, recessed button on the side or bottom of the device.
- Use a paperclip or similar object to press and hold the reset button for about 10 seconds.
- Release the reset button and wait for the device to reboot. This process may take a few minutes.
- After the hard reset is complete, you will need to set up your Moxee Mobile Hotspot again, including creating a new Wi-Fi password and configuring any custom settings.
- If a red "x" is displayed in the top left over where the cell connection displays, attempt a Hard Reset.
- If this does not resolve the issue, please contact the PCC Library for a replacement Hotspot.
- If none of the above resolves the problem, either submit a Report a Device Problem request or call 206-4900 for support.
