Claiming Your MyPima Account

Introduction

This article provides instructions on how to claim your Pima account and set a password for accessing MyPima and college resources.

Instructions

1. Navigate to the account.pima.edu.
2. Click on "Activate your MyPima account."
3. Enter your Pima ID (A Number) and Birth Date in the prompted fields.
4. Click on the "Submit" button.
5. Review and accept the Acceptable Use Agreement.
6. Choose a password that meets the following criteria:
   • Password must be between 15 and 127 characters long.
   • Password must include at least one letter.
   • Password can include special characters, except:
     • ":" or any non-English characters (e.g., accented letters or non-Latin scripts).
7. Select a password recovery option:
   • Email: Password recoveries will be sent to an address of your choice.
   • Security Questions: Password recoveries will require you to answer three questions of your choice.
8. Once you have successfully saved your recovery option, you will then be able to log into MyPima with your new password.
