In a situation where the end user is experiencing lag (delay) when first attempting to connect to a site, it could be due to WinSCP attempting to access the most recent directory the user was working in. This feature can be disabled by following the instructions below:
Deselect ‘Remember last used directory’ on the first login screen advanced settings. Type in the desired main directory path. When you reach the main directory, use the filter function to search for the desired file prior to selecting the jobsub folder.
