Overview/Introductions:
The purpose of this KB Article is to provide instructions to employees regarding the creation of a New Site connection in WinSCP.
Details:
These instructions relate to WinSCP settings for the Oracle 19 Banner Upgrade project (Oct/Nov 2021) and should only apply as part of this project or after November 2021.
Contact Enterprise Systems to obtain the password for the appopriate user prior to continuing to the following steps.
Open WINSCP application and click “New Site” on the login screen.
Enter in log in information as follows:
Host Name:
- ban-jbsb-prd.pima.edu - August 2024 (Production), ban-jbsb-stg.pima.edu - May 2024 (Test)
- jobsub-pccp-prod.pima.edu - (Oracle 19 - After Golive Nov 2021) (Go Live and testing for Oracle 19 Upgrade)
- jobsub-pccp.pima.edu - (Oracle <=12 - Pre Golive Nov 2021) (Legacy)
User name:
- Financial Aid Personnel = finaid
- Non-Financial Aid Personnel = dataload
- Library Services Personnel = ltsftp
Password:
Based on supplied password.
Click the Advanced Button.
Click on Directories
- Uncheck Remember Last Used Directory
- Select Remote Directories:
- Uncheck Remember last directory used
- Remote Directory Used
- If used for jobsub and dataload = /global/app/banpccp/
- If only used for dataload
- Financial Aid Personnel = /u01/app/ellucian/dataload/finaid
- Non-Financial Aid Personnel = /u01/app/ellucian/dataload
- Library Services Personnel = /u01/app/ellucian/dataload/lts
Click OK Button
Click on Save Button
In Site Name enter something meaningful to you regarding the Site you are creating: For example:
- New WinSCP ORA19 2021
- Click Save password, unless you want to enter the password on each session
- Click the OK Button.
