Instructions
How to Assign, Reassign, or Remove a Workflow
- Open the Ticket: Navigate to the specific ticket you want to modify.
- Open the Actions Menu: Click the Actions dropdown button in the top menu bar.
- Select the Desired Action:
- Assign a Workflow: Select Assign Workflow (use this if no workflow is currently applied).
- Change or Restart a Workflow: Select Reassign Workflow. This will remove any current workflow
- Remove a Workflow: Select Remove Workflow.
- Complete the Action:
- For Assigning / Reassigning: Select the appropriate workflow from the dropdown menu in the modal window, then click Save.
- For Removing: Confirm the prompt to remove the active workflow.
Verifying the Workflow
Once saved, you will return to the ticket detail page. Check the right panel (below the Requestor section) to view your changes:
- Workflow: Displays the assigned workflow name and current stage status.
- Current Activities: Displays active tasks or pending approvals for the current workflow stage.
