Introduction

This article provides the process for recording custom voice messages on a Cisco Phone. Your voicemail greeting is the message your callers hear when they reach your voicemail. There are two types of voicemail greetings - Busy and No Answer. The Busy greeting is played when you’re on another call and don’t have a call waiting, and the No Answer greeting is played when you don’t answer the call.

Instructions

  1. On your Cisco Phone, select the Voicemail button.
  2. Enter your voicemail password, then press 1 to access the Voice Messaging menu.
  3. From the Voice Messaging menu, select one of the following options:
    • Press 2 to access the Busy Greeting menu.
      • Press 1 to record a new Busy Greeting. Follow the prompts.
    • Press 3 to access the No Answer Greeting menu.
      • Press 1 to record a new No Answer Greeting. Follow the prompts.
