Setup Pima Gmail on an Android Device

This article provides instructions for accessing your Pima Gmail account on Android devices.

Enable IMAP in Gmail

Before setting up your Pima Gmail account on your phone or tablet, you must first log into Gmail from a computer and enable IMAP.

1. Login to your Pima Gmail account from a computer.
2. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner, and choose "See all settings."
   
3. Click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
   
4.  In the IMAP Access section select Enable IMAP, and click Save Changes.
   

Setup Gmail on your Android Device

1. Open the Gmail app for your phone or tablet.
2. At the top right, tap your current profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
   
4. From the list of account types, tap Google.
   
5. Fill in your e-mail address in the space provided, you will be redirected to the MyPima login page, and once logged in, tap Next.
   
6. Follow any additional prompts and tap Next to complete the setup.
