Searching the Directory on Your Cisco Phone

This article describes the steps to use your Cisco phone to find and call a contact in the college directory.

Steps to Take

1. Press Contacts. 
2. To change from the default category of All directories, press Category and select from available options.
3. Enter your search term with the letters on the number keypad. That is, press 2 once for letter a, twice for letter b, and so forth.
4. Press Search.
5. Use the navigation keypad to select your target contact from the search results.
6. To call the contact, press Call.
