Introduction

Autodesk offers students use of its software products for free, allowing you to use Fusion or Autocad, for example, at school and at home to complete classroom assignments. To download the free software, you must first set up an Autodesk Account and verify your eligibility for the student plan.

Note: The Help Desk team cannot be involved in monitoring your approval status with Autodesk.

Process

Sign up by choosing the product you want, selecting the student plan, and providing your college email address and other details for verification.

  1. Navigate to https://www.autodesk.com/education/home and review its information and video.
  2. Near the top of the page, click the Select product button.
  3. Scroll the grid to find the product you want, and then click its Select button.
  4. Under Subscription plans, click the Select button in the Student box.
  5. In the Enter account information section, provide your college email address and the rest of the information requested.
  6. Under Add School information, in the School address field, enter 4905 E. Broadway Blvd, and then select the option showing the zip code as 85709.
  7. Provide your projected graduation date and check the box affirming information accuracy, and then click Continue.
  8. If necessary, confirm eligibility by providing any required documents.
  9. Check your email for status updates.
  10. After Autodesk says you’re verified, use the emailed link to begin downloading your software.
