Introduction
You can use the Webex mobile app on your smartphone if you want to answer calls to and make calls from your college phone number. Using your personal smartphone for this is optional.
Before You Begin
To use the app, you must download and install the app on your phone, and then sign in and set up the app.
- Open the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or your preferred app source.
- Search for Webex. Search results show several similar apps; be sure to download the correct Webex one, shown on the left here. App names and icons are identical for both Android and iOS stores.

- Follow onscreen prompts to sign in to the app with your MyPima credentials.
- If prompted, give the app permission to access your phone’s microphone, record audio, take pictures, make phone calls, and so on.
- If you generally take or make calls from the same location, enter that into the app’s Emergency Calling (E911) location.
Steps to Take
Steps to place a call and screen layout differ somewhat between iOS and Android apps. Those can also differ from one Android variant to another. Select the instructions for your phone below.
Android App Steps to Take
- To place a call, tap Calling on the bottom icon row.
- Tap the handset+ icon, then tap the dialpad icon.
- Either use the onscreen keypad to enter the number to call or search the directory by typing the name of the person you want to call.
- Tap the handset icon to initiate the call.
iOS App Steps to Take
- To place a call, tap Calling on the bottom icon row.
