This article provides information on obtaining the Practicum Placement Request Form:
Students can access a Practicum Placement Request Form from the PCC website:
Step 1. Student should enter the words 'teacher education' in the Search box on the www.pima.edu homepage.
Step 2. Click the first link provided 'Pima Community College: Teacher Education'.
Step 3. Click the Elementary or Secondary Certification link under Post-Degree Certificates.
Step 4. Click on the Important Information link in the body of the information.
Step 5. Student can then directly access this form under Forms.
Step 6. Pima provides this information and the form to ALL Post-Degree students up front and we also keep this form in our new Teacher Education groups area linked right off of the MyPima homepage. It is available 24/7 in this new area as well as via the more public PCC website.
Teachers in the area may take the restricted/practicum courses:
Step 1. Teacher should open up a Continuing Education file and Pima will provide the form and detailed information.
Step 2. Pima can also email or mail the form to anyone if they email teachereducation@pima.edu with the request. Pima will also respond to any phone requests via 520.206.6566.
