Calibrating SMART Board Screens

Introduction

This article provides a step-by-step guide to calibrating or orienting the interactive pen display on a SMART Board.

Instructions

  1. On the taskbar in the bottom right corner of the screen, click the SMART Notebook icon.

    If the icon is missing, select the up arrow icon ^ to show hidden icons.
  2. On the pop-up menu, select Orient.

  3. Use the cordless pen to press the center of each target until all targets are pressed.

  4. The orientation window will close when completed.

Note: Sometimes, the orientation window appears on the wrong screen in multi-display rooms. You can press the space bar until the calibration/orientation window moves to the correct display, then proceed with the steps above.
